Love it! The flavor is so much better than any tex-mex we have in our own town. I love the hatch chile chicken enchiladas, the boom chicka boom boom, and the Elvis memorial combo. Prices are pretty standard for tex-mex….$10-$15 a person. Steak fajita meat was very flavorful and tender. Hint: ask for the creamy jalapeo sauce.

Had planned on going to our favorite Papacita’s across the street – but they were closed for vacation! So we decided to check out Chuy’s – and I’m glad we did! Fresh salsa made daily, tortillas made in front of your eyes – excellent food and great service. We now have a new favorite for Mexican in Tyler – never thought Papacita’s would cede that place – I guess that’s what happens when you go on vacation!

The Chuck-E-Cheese of Tex-Mex. Their marketing is brilliant, attesting to the fact that they can fill the house with such uninspired, tasteless, overpriced fodder. Sheeple eat here.

Fried Stuffed Avacado!!!. Monday’s special is fried stuffed avacado and it’s amazing!!! Their cilantro lime rice and jalepeno ranch dip are so yummy!!

Service ok, bland food. The weakest tea I have ever had…. Literally could not tell it wasn’t water. tortilla soup tast same as chicken noodle with a slight flavor of cilantro ……rest was just ok

Nastiest food…. Went there expecting it to be great, because of all the good reviews, and it was horrible. The food was bland, service was awful, and we only saw our waiter about 3 times. I had the fajitas and I wanted to vomit, not worth it, or the money. Never again.

It Is All In The Service Here!. We have been here now maybe 4-5 times. The food was good and my wife really likes the Salsa Fresca.I felt like each time I have had better. This last time we went about 3:30pm or so when it was not just miserable packed.Wow, what a difference…especially with our waitress who had time to spoil us and gave us one of the greatest eating experiences we have ever had. We were given our usual chips and Salsa Fresca and she asked if we would like to try some of there Creamy Jalapeno Sauce she liked. We did and it was great. My wife ordered a Margarita but was unsure about the peach so our waitress just brought her a sample on her own! A sample. We eat out alot and do not hardly ever find a waitstaff willing to give a sample of a margarita= usually we have to try the whole thing. Anyway, my wife loved it and got one= sample worked. The waitress proceded to ask us if we had ever tried any of their other sauces…..we did not even know there were other sauces so she brought us out a plate with almost a dozen sauces on it in a pretty picture that I included. She described each one and we tried them all! Next, we chose the fajitas and she proceded to tell us all the history of the process of the fajitas including the Shiner Bach soaking for a day. Last was probably what hurt the most. She told us of the Tres Leches dessert and once again brought us a sample…..wow, another sample…= it worked so we got a whole dessert and shared it and it was one of the most delicious desserts we have ever had and we were full when we started it but had to eat it all because it was so uniquely delicious and by the time we rolled out of there our whole Tyler trip had been made. Every other time we have been they are too busy to stop hardly and I felt it was nowhere near as good. This time though was memorable and perfect and probably will be hard to duplicate.
