Visited June 17th for dinner. Great building and decor – new construction meets Texana. I need to try the patio, which looks terrific. Every meal I’ve eaten here has been solid. The recipes are good, but the quality of Sam’s meat and seafood are particularly good. The meats include stress-free and game (venison and quail). Enjoyed the two-meat BBQ plate with brisket (good but chopped?) and sausage (very good). Good sauce as well. Coconut shrimp appetizer was excellent. Waitstaff were very attentive when I visited. My only criticism: the rocks Margarita. Do a fresh mix, not the neon green stuff out of the bottle. You’re better than that.

Beautiful location horrible service. Came to dinner with some friends the food was OK as far as taste but a bit overpriced for the quality of the food the place was empty and still managed to give us horrible service I can see now why this place was empty today :/

Worst. Wine List. Ever.. Looks like they put all the $ into the building, which is great. The greatness stops there. The menu is overpriced and uninspired. I was in a party of 3 and all of the food was bland and less than mediocre. The wine list is the worst I’ve ever seen. Why even bother if you’re only going to serve low end, rank swill and attempt to get per glass what a bottle would cost retail. Hint: Someone who actually drinks wine should be choosing the Wine List items.

Disappointment! The food was tasteless and cold and the service was slow.

Bad Experience. My wife ordered the Crispy Chicken and Avacado salad. When it arrived, the avacado had huge black spots and the lettuce was wilted and turning dark. I had the Kobe beef burger, which was okay; however, the fries that came with it were cold.We have been going to Coyote Sam’s since they opened (and before that, we were regulars at Sam’s Deli, which was owned by the same people). For awhile after opening, they were very good. However, this is our third disappointing visit. We won’t be back.
