Good just Ok. Obnoxious white man yapping on and on on the opposite corner of the restaurant ruined it all. As the French say, he farts much higher than his a$$hole.
Big disappointment. We were visiting family and went for Velentines day. The wait staff was very unorganized and harried. There was a help wanted sign out front, so maybe the chef had quit. The food was average at best. The side vegetables were over done. The dessert choices were limited to creme brle. More like a pudding cup.i had one glass of wine and they charged us for 5. Luckily we caught the mistake.. Definitely will not be returning.
Overrated. The food was average and overpriced. I don’t mind paying a lot for a dinner if it is a good meal. I don’t like paying a lot for an average meal though. The crawfish bisque was good but everything else was very average. Very, very average!

Have enjoyed Currents for nearly 20 years. Loved the old location upstairs. Went to the new one on Broadway and it is fine. Had the special, Mahi Mahi, and it was really overdone. My husband’s food and appetizer was wonderful. Overall still my favorite in Tyler but will not be having the fish anymore. It was $27 and nearly inedible. If they had asked, I would have told them.
Love this place. Very romantic, excellent service, absolutely wonderful food.
Casual Fine Dining. Best in Tyler for a personal touch to the best cuisine in the area. Service is attentive without being intrusive. Value is very good and I can’t think of another place to share a quiet fine meal with friends or family….
