I’ll be back!. Tried an experiment today. Having never been to Fuzzy’s or the other taco shop that begins with R before, I went to each for lunch today. At each place, I had a fish and a shrimp taco, just to compare.Fuzzy’s wins, hands down! At Fuzzy’s, the tacos had twice the ingredients in them. The taste at Fuzzy’s was much better. Both places had friendly staff but Fuzzy’s manager came by to thank me for visiting. The cashier at Fuzzy’s was very helpful. The sauce on the table was some of the best hot sauce I have ever tried. Overall, a great experience.I will be back soon to try some of the other items on the menu.Give Fuzzy’s a try, you won’t regret it!
To some of the reviews that talk about bad service, it’s true, when Fuzzys first opened they had mediocre cooks and cashiers. However, I am a regular and since that time they pretty much have am entirely news staff who are always helpful and polite08 Mar, 2013Fuzzy taco shop is amazing! They have some of the best quality food for the prices. I would eat their grilled shrimp tacos every day. The staff are incredible and treat you like guests at their party, they also give military discounts.
A Tale of Two Taco Shops. Some time last year I was pleasantly surprised to see that Tyler was getting 2 taco shops that I had never heard of. Fuzzy’s is pretty different from Rusty. They have a lot more floor space and an interesting room. At Fuzzy’s you can order plate dinners, so I decided to get a Combo – one enchilada, one taco & 2 sides. I tried a grilled fish taco and a cheese enchilada. For 2 sides I chose Mix-Mex Fried Rice & Latin Fried Potatoes. I liked the enchilada, both sides and the chips with seasoning. I could barely taste the fish in the taco. I’m not crazy about hot sauce being hot in temperature either. I like it at room temp or even refrigerated. It is also very chunky. If I get to go again I will probably try a beef taco.
Beyond Awesome. Eat there regularly. Highly recommended. Food great, have not had even a mediocre meal. Great price for full Mexican meal that’s fast.
Once and never again. Dirty, poor service, cold food and the manager told me that I ordered the worst thing on the menu. He also stated that his cook that day was not the best. This place will be for lease soon.
Best Taco’s in Texas. To the people complaining about time you are ridiculous. If you want fast food service go to Taco Bell Idiots ! Fuzzy’s tacos has been a staple for great food in Ft. Worth for years and it doesn’t disappoint in Tyler. Don’t go for the original beef (it’s not that its bad though) The fish tacos are fantastic along with the White queso. Enjoy !
