Not gluten friendly! We ask…. Not gluten friendly! We asked for a gluten free menu and were promptly informed its not a gluten friendly establishment! We were told most items will include gluten and white sauces would be ‘our best bet’. Could not provide any further assistance. Not what I expect from a restaurant labeled ‘gluten-friendly’.
Best Asian in Tyler. If you haven’t tried it recently then u should give it another chance. All there food is homemade. Try their dumplings and their egg rolls. The sesame chicken is awesome. I love their fried jumbo shrimp but it’s a monster amount (1lb) of food. They have a full bar with sake and Asian beers like ichiban and Tsingtao. Really nice decor and quiet intimate setting. Better than mings…. Julian’s is also amazing but more of a neo-Asian venue.
I’d eat here often when it was all Tyler had 15 years ago. I’m sure owners and staff have been a revolving door since. There are much better Chinese food restaurants in Tyler now I don’t see how Liangs manages to stay open.
Went here for anniversary. My husband and I went to Liangs for the first time yesterday. I’ve lived in the area for 33 years and this is my first time! I really wish I had gone sooner. The decor was lovely, our waiter was great and was very knowledgeable about the menu. I am glad we went for lunch though. The prices seemed a little high on the dinner menu but lunch was just right, especially if the portion at dinner was the same size as the lunch. The portions are small compared to other places but I feel the quality is better. Plus you get soup, an eggroll and rice on top of it so its filling either way. Needless to say everything was wonderful and our 12th anniversary was very special!
Great. My mom and I love eating at Liang’s, we go at leat once a month and love the food! For a Chinese sit down dinner it is not over priced, if you compare it to a buffet or drive thru it is more expensive. I would recommend eating here to any one!
Love the food. I love Liangs, been coming here for a few years and always have great service and excellent food. I love the ribs and moo shoo pork which is my favorite
