This place has really gone down hill. We have been going to Shoguns for several years. In the last six months or so the place is really gone downhill. The last three times the seating took nearly an hour and two of those three times we had reservations that turned to be irrelevant. The food was still okay but the portions were significantly less. And much like college, the contest becomes how many people can you possibly fit around one table if everyone inhales. When I brought this to the attention of management they either didn’t care or they pretended not to speak English. As they say in baseball three strikes and you’re out.

Disappointed. Happy hour specials were great. The food was decent. Being told at the end of our 80 dollar meal that their credit card machine was broken was not so good. Then being asked to go to the Walgreens and use the ATM machine to get cash was classless. Overall we were very disappointed with our first and last vist to Shoguns. Also when I asked if they could take down the cards information or use one of those machines to carbon copy it and run it when their machine is working the employee (manager I think) said that was not a good idea.

This is the place to go for sushi. They have a wide variety and can make just about any request. They also are the best place in town for a REAL alcoholic beverage. They are VERY kind with the liquor. Far better than anyone else in town with their watered down drinks.

8pm reservations turned into 8:45 seating. It was almost 10 before the chef showed. Top it off with mediocre food amd we’ll not be back. Very disappointed!

This is absolutely the BEST sushi I’ve ever had and I’ve had a LOT. I went tonight for the first time since moving here last year. My only regret is not having tried it sooner. We had the ‘Crazy Cajun’ (which I thought was quite fitting being that I am a Cajun), the ‘Rock N Roll’, the ‘Spider Roll’, the ‘Crunchy Roll’ and last but DEFINITELY not least, the ‘Shogun #2’. They were all spectacular but the ‘Shogun #2’ was by FAR the best tasting piece of sushi I have ever tasted. Simply AMAZING!!! Everything was extremely fresh. I just can’t say enough about how delicious it was! I will definitely be going back time and time again.
