  The Service was great good hamburgers lots of choices great prices a great place to go for a quick good hamburger!!! Will go again!!!!!!!!!!

  DON’T GO THERE. This place is awful. I went to the drive thru 02/17/2015. I ordered a burger that was suppose to have bacon on it…..there was none. I ordered cheese fries and…..there was maybe a tsp of cheese. I ordered a Dr Pepper and it was nothing but carbonation….undrinkable. I called immediately after I noticed all this and was told I could get a refund if I would have paid with a card…..I paid in CASH. So I was told my name would be placed in the office and the next time I came by I could get a refund….I live 22 miles away and rarely go that direction. A couple weeks later I was in the area so I went in and tried to talk to the manager BRAD, he seemed uninterested in what I had to say and the person I had talked to before no longer worked there….GO FIGURE. He said he could do anything and I would have to come back and talk to CHARLENE the next day. I got very angry and asked him did he not here me when I said I do not live nearby. I walked out without a refund. I will never go there again and recommend that no one go there. While I was there…there was an employee making shakes and throwing stuff around and a few minutes later she walked out crying and left. It was total chaos there. BEWARE I WARNED YOU. And by the way, they have a sign by the door saying 100% satisfactory. WHAT A JOKE.

  First S’nS in 10 Years. I ate at Steak ‘n Shake a couple times while I lived in Tennessee. I didn’t remember much other than that they had white china plates. It is cool location and has some interesting things on the menu. You can get in an out of there at a low price. I didn’t understand why the standard burger was a double until I got my single. The patties are small – or really they are the normal size patties of when fast food burgers originated – think a plain McDonald’s burger (that size). Over time, patties have gotten bigger and bigger. When I tried the famous Dyer’s in Memphis, the patties were this size (and that place has been around a long time). Anywho, I decided to try a Prince of Royale single from the $4 menu. This comes with a fried egg and applewood bacon. Looked and sounded amazing. When I got it, it was not so much so. I didn’t really taste the individual flavors. I also tried the Cajun seasoned fries. They were ok. I’m not sure the seasoning is too much different from the seasoning already on the table. There were some other interesting items on the menu that I would definitely try if it was a place I was frequently around. Think McDonald’s on china plates, but with a waiter (which means added tip cost). There are a lot of low priced options, so it’s somewhere in between McDonald’s and a diner, I guess.
