A lubys clone. Admittedly, I’m not particularly a fan of the meat and 3 concept to begin with as it usually lends itself to overcooked fare, and premixed boring sides, but this place manages to even be worse than the chains that started it, and the management came from. The building itself is nice, and the decor appropriate, but the food is bland, overpriced and the service is poor at best. Not one of my choices, especially when its so close to so many other good options.
Great Food, Sketchy Service. Ive been to Traditions a total of 3 times. 2 out of those 3 times the service was a lil off their game. Nothing major, just not as attentive as i like. If you never need a refill then its fine. Still, the selection and quality of the food is much better than you’d get at Luby’s. Not to mention the fact that the floors and general atmosphere are just better. You dont feel like you are eating in the cafeteria of a nursing home.
Alot better than Lubys.
Good Family Place. First off, this place is WAY better than Luby’s. It is a family cafeteria with really good food and variety. It is particularly busy with the church crowd and early-birds.
