Trading your respect for food. Let me start off by saying this is the first review I’ve ever written because I’m normally a pretty calm guy. So first let’s understand what a reservation is, it’s not some idea up for interpretation it’s this: I tell you a time I want to be seated a day or two in advance and you guarantee me the next available table at the time of check-in. I think I’ve done the establishment a solid and my proactivity should pay off. Except here is how reservation at Villa Montez works:Inform the smug hostesses of your arrangement, instantly get almost an eye roll, told to sit down and then wait for a minimum of thirty minutes; we waited almost an hour before another couple that came in later was seated before us. As we were exiting, surprise, not any of the three or four hostesses were even at the front podium. And this is the second time our reservations were not honored. There will not be a third. SOThe food is good but not worth the wait. I suppose you have to ask yourself how much disrespect you’re willing to take for a decent burrito.

I just ate their Pork Ossobuco for the second time and it was delicious. It’s one of their specials they serve on occasion. If you have the opportunity try it. Wonderful Dish!!!

Hate the Wait. I have been there numerous times, and have Never been allowed to be seated in under 30 minutes. No matter what size our party is. I was there on a Wednesday last time and the parking lot was almost empty in the back. There was six of us and we were told we would have to wait 20 to 30 minutes. My sister went up and asked if we could be seated about 25 minutes later, and she was told it had not been 30 minutes yet. After our 30 minute wait was, the hostess came got us and took us to our table. I noticed the place was half empty. I truly like their food, but I refuse to wait just for the sake of it and I will NEVER go back for that reason.

As Good As It Gets!!!. The previous poster is an idiot! The Sea Bass was the best fish of ANY fish I have ever had at any restaurant. And my wife and I frequent 4 / 5 star restaurants monthly. My wife had the Carne Azada and was very pleased. Absolutely can not wait to return!Craig & Jessica from Dallas

Disappointed. The place looked fairly nice on the outside but the inside was run down and the tables were undecorated. Not as much as a salt shaker. I expected more from a upscale restaurant. That being said, the food was just horrible. You can get better from a taco bell. Do yourself a favor and pass this one by. I know I won’t go back. Im so glad I didn’t take any compamy there for dinner. It would had been so embarrassing. I cant believe they are still in business.

Wonderful!. We ate on patio, great food and great service would reccomend to anyone looking for a nice Mexican meal. Not cheap but we’ll worth the price.

Awesome!. We’ve been eating at Villa Montez for several years now and love it. There’s something for everyone on the menu from low price to high. The beef burrito is the size of a dinner plate and is probably the best value. The hot sauce is to die for, and their Mojitos are second to none. When the owner Mundo is there things seem to run smoother with service, but it’s always good. You won’t be disappointed.
