AMAZING!. Village Bakery is amazing! Fresh breads, cookies, pies and the most gorgeous wedding cakes you’ll ever see. Personally, their gingerbread men are my favorite, and the chocolate cake too! They are super friendly, courteous and always have any special orders ready on time. You can’t do any better!
J Hassell. Have been going to Village Bakery for many years, and have never been dissipointed in anything there. The staff is always helpful, and the quality of the baked items has never changed. When alot of businesses are cutting back, Village has managed to keep the same wonderful items in stock, without skimping on ingredents. Many a party and family gathering has been blessed with the treats from Village, and will continue to be so for as long as they are around.
Amazing Birthday Cake!!. For my boyfriend’s 23rd birthday I ordered him a two tier cake from the Village Bakery. I wanted the cake to be special and the staff worked with me to create the most perfect design! I had a vague idea to incorporate my boyfriend’s vintage Triumph race car into the cake design, I told the staff they could create whatever they wanted with that design. They did not disappoint! The cake was perfect and captured everything that I wanted it too. My boyfriend and his family were blown away by the details and thoughtfulness that went into the creation.The cake not only looked like it came out of a magazine, but it was delicious too!!! I continue to recommend the bakery to all of my friends.The added plus was the price was perfect too!
Amazing.. I hadn’t ever been to Village Bakery until about two months ago. We get Village Bakery’s cakes for parties and gatherings at work, and I’ve loved every cake we’ve gotten. One day when I went to Village Bakery and picked up a cake for a coworker, I was excited because I thought I was going to be able to enjoy the delicious cake, but I found out that it was for a special meeting… and I was upset. Village Bakery has great cakes. I’ve had their strawberry cake which is amazing, and their black and white, which I probably love the most. The people that work there are always friendly, and our cakes are always ready when we need them to be. My birthday is coming up next week, and without a doubt I’m getting my cake from Village Bakery.
Time Proven Perfection!. I have been a visitor to the Village Bakery for over twenty years. When my children were young a quick stop for gingerbread men or women or cookies was a must. My dinner guest enjoyed the most delicious desserts that a forty mile drive from Athens could afford. And when my daughter decided to marry, she chose to use the Village Bakery for her wedding cake. The cake was delivered on time to the Athens Country Club, an out of town venue, and was not only delicious but was gorgeously decorated and expertly adorned with brilliant crystals. Thank you Betty, David and the Village Bakery team for making our most important events throughout the years consistently memorable! C. Walls
Daughters wedding. My daughter had her wedding this past weekend at The Arbors with over 225 people attending. The Village bakery made both the brides cake and the grooms cake and we could not have been more pleased. I had multiple people come to me to ask who made the cakes and how delicious the fondant and the cake taste. Most times Fondant is unedible but on both cakes was just devine. Both cakes were extremely moist and were both done to our specifications. Betty was one of the most nicest people that we dealt with throughout the wedding as a whole and I wholeheartedly recommend Village Bakery to everyone I come in contact with.
