Divorcing You. Yeah, I’m breaking up with this place. Love, love loved it when Taco H was next door. I came here thinking I could get the same Big Fat Burrito like before, but while the flavor is the same, the price is $3.50 more than it was before. I guess that is what happens when you get the same thing served on chinaware. It is actually a buck cheaper on Sundays during brunch hours.It was so much easier and quicker before too at Taco H. And when you would get the burrito it came wrapped in aluminum foil and you could just open it up and eat it that way. So simple. Now it’s with a knife and fork that I have to go at it. And the cheese, sour cream and guacamole are served on the plate separately. By the time you add them, your burrito is cold.Now, I guess this place is all about the margaritas. Seems to be mostly tables of women here soaking up the liquor with their friends. Atmosphere is non-existent…deathly quiet…can’t hear music….televisions on but no sound…I will say that the service was good, friendly. No complaints at all about that. It was everything else that brought Baja Mex Gril down. Sorry BMG. I had to leave you for another restaurant.
Soft drinks. I have eaten here a couple times and the kids usually order soft drinks.Didnt realize there was a problem till I had eaten there a couple times. When I got the bill there were a lot of charges for soft drinks. Well the kids had gotten numerous refills, and the soft drinks are in cans. you can ask for a refill and the waitrss brings it out, not telling you there is a charge for each and every refill. This is 2013 not 1965, why do you not have a a fountain???
No taste. I now have given this place a second try and It is still bad. I had the chicken and steak al corbon. The meat was so dry I felt like I was eating something that had been cooked much earlier in the day and reheated. So I dunked it in hot sauce and sourcream…ugh….will not try again….on a good not the service was ok….
Not anymore. Loved this place when it first opened, but not anymore. I do have to say that the shrimp cocktail is good, and the chicken. But after several bone shards and fat in my meals, as well as rancid salsa twice, I have given up. There are other places that try harder.
Personality, busy, loud, fun, and good food. Get there early. Pollo al Comal is my favorite.

Baja has some of the best Mexican food and margaritas! Our typical fav’s are brisket tacos and enchilada meals. They include generous servings which is good as the prices are steep. I love the Baja blue on rocks w/salt and it never disappoints. In fact you only need one of these, because there strong and expensive!Best for last I praise the Sunday brunch 11am to 3pm. Mexican breakfast done right serving lunch as well. Check out there take on eggs benidict with a Baja blue, bring your friends and appetite!
