I am not very enthused about King Wok. The place has a respectable faade, but once you go inside it is fairly dreary. This is meant more as a takeout or delivery place, and not really a destination restaurant, even though you can eat inside. There are several booths and tables. You still order at the counter (if you haven’t called it in already) and grab a spot to dine. The lady who took my order brought my food encased in a Styrofoam box, along with napkins to my table. There are no fountain drinks, only canned and plastic bottles of soda or water.The food did not excite my taste buds. The egg roll was bland. I put some hot mustard on it which really did not help. The sesame chicken was also third rate. No flavor, but thankfully crispy. There were only three meager pieces of broccoli. I wish I would have remembered to ask for steamed rice. I received fried rice, but once again, it didn’t even have fried rice flavor. There was a semblance of peas in the rice, but they looked like they were added as an afterthought. If you are looking for quantity, their lunch-sized portions are almost dinner-sized, but if you looking for something with pizzazz, this is the wrong place.
