Good In Small Doses. It’s been probably fifteen years since I’ve had a Krispy Kreme doughnut. I thought I would give them another try. The best ones are the ones which are coming right off of the line of course. The glazed ones had been prepared a few hours earlier this morning, so I skipped those in favor of the latest batch which were the chocolate frosted. This variety was good. but like all of them, are over-the-top sweet. I finished that one but couldn’t eat any of the others. A friend of mine recommended freezing them and heating them up in the microwave for 15 seconds for a better flavor. I will do that as I have a couple of maple and a raspberry filled that I need to try but won’t be able to eat them today. In fact, these four should last me through 2014.
