I have eaten almost everything on the menu and don’t really have complaints. If you are looking for award winning BBQ, as a BBQ purist I would say this may not be for you. It is a nice corner bar with good food and we come back again and again.

Kitchen closed. Showed up at 8:50 on a Monday and the kitchen was closed. It would be nice if their website mentioned that the kitchen closes before the 10:00 normal close time.
Terrible… Went in to try this place out after purchasing a groupon, the place looks very nice on the inside, but that’s all they have going for them. When we were seated they got our drink order right out, which is nice, but we never received a refill. We had ordered a salad and the lunch ribs.. I must stress the fact that its really hard to mess up a salad. But somehow they ended up doing so. I could barely get the meat off the ribs which were dry and bland. We didn’t eat hardly any of our food. The manager must have seen this and brought out a complementary bowl of their Mac and cheese. Which is basically the only thing we did finish. The waitress that we had was nice but we really didn’t see much of her. They really probably should close out the kitchen, its pointless. The brisket on the salad tastes like it had been sitting in the fridge for a couple of days. Didn’t get to go boxes, just payed and left, after we got our correct ticket. Very disappointing. And will definitely never return. I don’t see this place lasting. But best of luck.
Cool Idea that Misses the Mark. A Pickle theme sounds interesting, the menu looks tempting, but the flavors don’t quite hit the mark. I had a half slab of ribs which were dry. The Texas Beef was dry. The Salad and Burger were fine, but nothing special, and none of the items were worth their price. diningoutdfw.com
Just save some time and go somewhere else!. It was our first visit to Pickles and sadly will be our last! We arrived and waited over 20 minutes before hunting someone down just for them to go hunt someone else down to get our drink orders. We were a table of 8 and all but two ordered water, the others were coke and sprite but as easy as this drink order was it still took an additional 10-15 to get those drinks. When she delivered the drinks she said she would be right back to take our orders but after an additional 15 minutes without her showing up, we decided to cut our losses and leave! The establishment is nice but that doesn’t really matter if you never get to order! So, in a nut shell, I can’t comment on the food itself but the menu seemed limited and slightly overpriced but THE SERVICE WAS AWFUL!! There are just too many other places to choose from that we actually will be waited on!! I honestly can’t imagine how they have lasted this long but maybe they will get there act together and hire more servers, I do wish them the best but we won’t be back!
Non Existent Service. I walked into the restaurant and had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. After the waitress seated us, she disappeared. We didn’t even get the chance to order drinks. My family and I sat there for 30 minutes, the manager and the waitress never even came over to get our drink orders. Eventually one member of our party went to the manager so we could get some service and he acted as if he didn’t care and told us someone would be with us shortly. Ten minutes later we were still waiting. We decided to leave then because there was quite literally NO SERVICE. We left with a chorus of the other tables telling us we made the right choice. I can’t even review the drinks because lolol we never had to opportunity to order those, let alone order from the tiny menu. The service was nonexistent and awful.
