Trying to cut down on the carbs, so we don’t hit Italian places very often, but we really enjoyed Tony’s. The selection was good, the service was friendly and the dcor was nice, and honestly more than we expected tucked into this strip. I really liked the Maranara and the Pastas were cooked through but still had a nice bite. diningoutdfw.com

Great little spot for NYC style pizza. This was my first visit to Tony’s and I was pleasantly surprised. Squeezed in between a Liberty Tax office and a Rent-A-Center, this unassuming little restaurant delivers quality. I ordered a couple of slices, one pepperoni and one hamburger and suffice to say, I could not finish as the slices are so big. {NYC style) Reminded me of being back in NYC and not just one, but several of my favorite places to stop in for lunch. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with murals of both northern Italy and Venice. I visited during the lunch hour and assumed that it would be busy and it would take time to get seated. Surprisingly though, it was not busy at all. My order came out within ten minutes and piping hot. The only reason I am giving this place four stars is the wait for my to-go box and check, though after several minutes I could see why it was taking so long. There is only one person waiting on tables and she was a little overwhelmed when the place got busy. All in all a great dining experience.Note: They do have cannoli, but I forgot to pick some up!
