Went here three years ago because of high ranking, but didn’t like it. Decided to give it another try, and regretted that. Great staff, but the food is bland and goopy. Their soups might be OK, but the food is neither on the healthy nor hearty side. Plenty of other great Asian places nearby. I’m puzzled how they got such high rankings…
Excellent Lunch. I have loved Chinese food for more than 40 years and have had Chinese in places as far flung as Hong Kong, mainland China and London U.K. I even took classes and learned to cook it myself. I had lunch at Ying’s a couple of days ago and found it to be among the best I have encountered. My service was excellent and the food was superb. I had Orange Beef, rice noodles and Hot & Sour soup all of which were good. I couldn’t finish it all and brought home enough for another meal. I have definitely had a lot worse Chinese, but never better.
Good Food – Great Value!. There are so many little Chinese restaurants around, that they all begin to run together. With a similar menu and dcor and flavors. We were pleasantly surprised upon a recent stop at Ying Caf. While the menu choices are similar, there is definitely a freshness about the items, and the lunch menu is a great value! You get your entre, choice of rice, noodles, egg roll, fried wonton and choice of soup – all for $6.50! We’ve already returned once and we’ll go back again. diningoutdfw.com

Very mediocre food at best. Left with a full stomach but didn’t feel satisfied. Probably won’t come back.
