There are 15,000 restaurants in Houston, and I eat at Al Basha just about every week. That sums it up. I’ve always had good to very good food here.
Overall, food and atmosphere was good. Even playing traditional music.I always rate these places by the quality of the baklava. I made an exception this time because the place and atmosphere was very pleasant.The baklava, however, was average at best.That being said, I would eat here again, but would skip dessert or try a different one that I don’t already have an expectation.

Not Good. We were here from out of town. Went to this restaurant because my boyfriend loooooves gyros. Appearance of restaurant was great, but it stops there! Gyro meat was CRUNCHY (overcooked)!! Not enough meat on gyro. I got the lamb kabob sandwich & it not only took forever but I ordered medium & it was literally burnt. Also got a cheese pizza kids meal & it took forever as well& had chunks of tomato in it. Who puts tomato chunks in KIDS cheese pizza?? None of our food came to the table at the same time. The only good thing was nice wait staff and some good spanikopita. Won’t be back here.
Good quality tasty food. Greek salad and other vegetarian options yummy. Meat is very well spiced and. Cooked. You will enjoy it. Give it a try. Good variety too
I’m new to Greek food but it’s nice to have something different. Great flavors and friendly staff to explain the foods. Gotta have baklava!
