Clearlake’s hidden treasure. The tuna dumpling appetizer is stupid good !!!!!!, very Yummm. Kinda pricey, but worth every penny. Great ambience, friendly waitstaff, the food presentation is really cool. I will be at both the locations frequently !!!!
Very impressive stuff…pleasantly surprised. I tend to favor the weird, rare stuff whenever I go for sushi so I wasn’t expecting a lot after trying places in the same ‘hood that feature rolls. Short story: I was knocked out! Kumamoto oysters, fatty New Zealand king salmon, blue fin toro, amberjack, uni. Just some of the things we tried (or I tried). My companion stuck to the more familiar rolls, and eel. Bonus: Very good wine and sake list; informed servers. Will be back around soon
Bad service. Went in tonight with the spouse. He likes to bring our little girl who is 5 there all the time, this was my first time going. I was really impressed with the food. I had the Mongolian beef with fried rice, the little one had the kid’s hibachi box, it comes with ice cream and the spouse had a salad of some nature with raw beef and a spicy tuna roll. All of which was great. The service however was really bad, I mean really bad. We are pretty patient but service dropped off after the appetizer (gyoza) was served and our order put in. The busser came around to fill our drinks, which is the norm here from what I was told and was really attentive. The server got busy chatting up another table and left us sitting at least ten minutes after we had finished. He would walk around to the other kitchen entrance instead of coming by our table which became annoying after waiting a while. Our little girl has special needs and of course was impatient after waiting 10 mins for the server to return to bring her ice cream. Instead of knowing when he would come back we ended up having to call the manager over to get our check and bring the ice cream to go. They discounted our ticket $5 which was roughly 10% of our bill which we felt was not nearly enough after our one night out being ruined by a server who abandoned us half way through the meal. We had wanted to get after dinner drinks and desert but decided against it since service was so terrible. The manager didn’t offer too much of an apology which prompted me to leave a 10% tip. He got exactly what was taken off our bill nothing more. I hate doing this and typically tip 20-25% having been a server myself during college but felt the shotty service and lack of proper apology earned 10% especially after forking over close to $60 a meal and not even getting the same service I would get at Chilli’s or Olive Garden. All in all it was a bad night and I hope the crappy tip left an impression, doubtful though. Hopefully my 2nd experience will be better than my 1st, the hubby loves this place and so does my kiddo so am willing to offer a second chance.

Fantastic- we go there on dates as well as with the kids. Great sushi, wine, beer and service. I recommend making reservations for busy Saturday nights.
Michiru has become an addiction for my wife and I. I have to eat there at least once a week now. Best Sushi in the area. Highly recommend. Good food, good atmosphere, good service.
