Everything about this place is great. The food is addicting and always tasty. They serve fresh chips and salsa and vegetable or seafood soup with your entree, which are both good (although marisco soup is our favorite). We typically get the shrimp cocktail and beef botana for one (the servings are huge). We have had the ceviche which is refreshing and flavorful. Haven’t had one bad thing here. Expect to take home leftovers!Oh, and the service is always on point. The waiters have always been attentive and received good tips from me for a reason!
Botana For 4. Chicken And beef
Delicious Mexican Food. I have been coming here about 3 years. Almost everything I’ve had has been great. Staff is good, portions are big enough to eat get full and still take a good size plate to go. Plus they have fresh lemonade.
It’s alright. My partner loves it. I don’t get it. The food all tastes fishy to me. The beans rice and tortillas all tasted fishy to me.
Fantastic. My husband and I have been coming to the Valley for 8 winters. Casa De Marisco is our favorite local place to eat seafood. It is simply exceptional. The waitstaff is professional, the seafood platters are extraordinary. You can get the seafood entrees but a seafood platter for two will easily feed 4 people and probably leave you leftovers. They come grilled or fried but fried is the default if you don’t specify grilled. The grilled fish and shrimp our outstanding as are the fish tacos. We’ve also had the chicken and beef botano platters which are also delicious and a great value. The fish soup is also outstanding. Very much a locals place and a gem. Skip the chain restaurants and eat real food, fresh, delicious and done correctly by the locals. You won’t regret your meal here.
Good Food, Good Service, Good Price. This restaurant has been in Weslaco TX for many years and it is a favorite of locals. It serves Mexican food but it specializes in fish and beef fajitas. The food is good. I have eaten the fish tacos made of Tilapia 3 times and they are very good. I have also had the Mexican style shrimp cocktail and it’s super yummy. The mexican plate was edible -my rating for edible on the mexican plate was due to the red enchilada chili sauce was out of a can instead of made being made fresh. Also the ground beef in the taco was way too watery creating a soggy taco instead of cripsy taco.They serve a fish soup as an appetizer when you order the fish tacos and it is very delicious too.The price is good and you won’t pay high seafood prices here. By the way, the servers are actually older professional servers from Mexico that take pride in the service they provide instead of some college kid trying to earn a few bucks.No offense to college kids but we’ve all eaten at Applebees, Chilis ect and see the college kids playing around instead of servicing the customer.Lastly, this place always has clientele…come and judge for yourself why.
