Disappointing. My husband and I ate here on the recommendation of some folks in the park where we were staying. We found the food disappointing. Portions were large but smoked turkey lacked any smoke flavor and the brisket was dry. Sides were average. Salad was good but this was below standard for our expectations of Barbeque. Guess we’ll stick to central Texas for our fix on the way to the Valley.

Sausage tasted like beef instead of pork sausage. Ribs were bland and fatty. BBQ sauce was ketchup based and it let you know. Beans were bland but at least fully cooked.
