Fantastic Find. Great food, different than the standard fare everywhere else. Soups are fresh, salads are huge and delicious and their pizza’s are fantastic. Great inventive ingredients and combinations. Everything from scratch – salad dressings to phenomenal dips. Great bar and the best beer selection around. Very friendly staff, great service in the bar and knowledgeable bar tender. We love coming! Why would anyone go to a ho hum chain with a great and delicious local choice like the Blue Onion?

Good food, bad service. I like their salads and wraps and the fresh ingredients they use. I use to love their beef stew on Fridays, but unfortunately, they changed the recipe, and now, I don’t care for it. Their service needs improvement.
Only been there once…. But I hope to go again soon! I got some kind of panini thing with thick-sliced bacon and turkey and a bit of rabbit food inside with their unique french fries. It was surprisingly good, even though I’m not usually one to eat something green with gusto. And yes, the service could have been improved, but the atmosphere was nice. It was very relaxed and family-friendly. The waiter we had was nice, but he did disappear for long periods of time for no apparent reason as other reviews have pointed out. Other than that, I saw no major flaws with the place. Recommendation: it’s a bit out of the way, but it’s worth the drive…and the wait for the waiter.
