Tasteless and bland. Very flavorless chicken, very bland. had a crunchy crust but was mostly tasteless. for the price you pay this chicken should have some flavor. paid for a side of mac and cheese then returned it because it is made of processed cheese which is very cheap. guy at counter wanted to charge me again for returning mac and cheese. did finally sub coleslaw which was the only good thing of the meal. roll was not even warm. first and last time visit. never again.

We wanted something different from churchs & kfc. chicken was good and fresh. mac & cheese was the best as were the rolls. i was upset that i had to pay twenty five cents for cups, to drink our tea. oh well, it was pricey but delicious.
Exceptional livers and gizzards. If that’s what you like they have it there! Mashed potatos that I could have gone on eating all day long. And the Sweet tea much better than Bill Millers. Believe me.
Best Fried Chicken!. Like the title says – the best fried chicken in my area. Better than Church’s, Way better than KFC and Popeye’s, and now my ‘go to’ place for that chicken fix.Sides get a little pricey, but why bother getting them? You’re going here for the CHICKEN, not fries, or mediocre mac and cheese. Just get a box of chicken and rolls, and throw a salad together at home. Cheaper, and healthier too…Is the chicken more expensive than other chains? YES. But would i pay a little more for superior taste? EVERY TIME.
No better or worse than the other local chicken chains, but way pricier.
Awesome chicken!!!!. I first ate Bushs in castroville texas. had never seen it before so i tried it. the chicken was outstanding. the pieces are so much bigger than kfc and churchs. When i saw the one going up on potranco rd i was very excited because i live in that area. They just opened yesterday and i ate there today. by far the best fried chicken i have ever had. and service was great too. they go around the dining room and ask you if you want refills and stuff. sweet tea is better than mcdonalds and bill millers.
