Bad Service…Tasteless Food. Should have known better, empty seats when every other resteraunt in the area had a line out the door (Saturday night). Ignored at the door, waited a long time to be seated. Finally seated then waited 10 min for a waitress. She then pulls out a card for each of our names. Stupid system…been to other Mongolian Grills with much simpler systems. Have to carry two bowls and the card with you while you fill up a tiny bowl. Sauces should go in the same bowl. There were six in our party and three of us got our food after about 15 minutes and we were done before two other people got their food. Still one left. She got hers about 10 min after that. We were all in line together. Oh yea, they forgot to take our drink order, too. My main complaint though is their cooking technique. All the sauce had cooked off, no flavor. The noodles tasted undercooked like they just threw them on top after the rest was done. Mongolian should be cooked on a very high heat so that everything seers and noodles should have a carmelization on them. When I saw them cooking I knew they didn’t know what they were doing. I will just make it at home from now on. It will be better and cost a lot less. Very poor resteraunt!
Food is great. Service is forgetful and unorganized but that can be forgiven for the good food. Just ignore the service and your time will be good at the restaurant
Ate here today; will update this review later. Leaving a quick review.Old reviews have not been good for this location. I was Informed this location is under new management; location is in improvement mode.I would return to this location to eat again (from the service & food I received today).
Where to start…we weren’t greeted when walking in. The floors nearly pulled my sandals off since they were sticky with soda. We were there for over an hour and the floor was never cleaned. They were out of a lot of the recipe cards, and no one knew or had a copy of the recipes. Vegetables were old and stale. Service was pretty good however. I still was somehow not entirely full for spending $12 + tip. Shoulda listened to UB.
Mongolian not done so well. Mongolian can be done well, however at Genghis things are lacking. The meat and vegetables are soggy, the sauces are all thick and sugary. Simply by keeping the meet frozen and ultra-thin sliced, keeping the vegetables cold and crisp, and offering thinner more subtle sauces, they could dramatically change things. They also tend to burn the veggies. With some improvements, they could turn things around.
I eaten here twice and both times were amazing. Love this place.
Your TV Commercials are sexist, stereotypical and disappointing. You do better than this.
