Came for lunch on a monday. Immediately seated. cordial greeting by our delightful waitress, Daisy. Good run down on the menu items, Good variety. We both chose the lunch special, both served with very good miso soup. One choice was 3 piece sashimi and 8 piece roll (you get a couple of choices) and my companion chose two rolls. Either dish was $9.49. Sushi rolls are in the eye of the beholder so no need to pick one over the other. All the descriptions of the rolls seemed a bit Americanized to me with choices with cream cheese, imitation crab, etc. I lived in Tokyo and this is far from the authentic I have experienced there, in NYC or west coast, but fills the need at a reasonable price and good value.
Not authentic Japanese food at all. Our gyoza was cold, the tonkatsu was very overdone, curry was bland, salad was awful, and the yakisoba was not made with soba noodles. I do not recommend this place if you want good japanese food, but the one thing we would get again was the jalapeo firecracker. It was spicy and delicious!
