‘A Tale Of Two Denny’s’ It was the best of worlds (at the one on Maurine) and the worst of worlds (at the one on Kemp). Had a skillet at the one on Maurine this morning, and received a double layer of food. Had the same skillet at the one on Kemp and was cheated with a single layer that only covered about 2/3rds of the pan. I think for at least a month after the quarter ends, the Denny’s on Kemp cheats people on their portions. Might be wise to eat at the one on Maurine in April, July, October and January.

This place needs a top to bottom scrub to rid it of nicotene and stale pungent cigarette odor. The whole restaurant stinks from the smoking room to the bathroom.The service is friendly but the waitresses pace themselves to their speed-setting which does not favor diners on their tight lunch hour.The food is typical of any other Dennys — edible but nothing to rave about. I hate beating this horse to death but seriously – clean the place up. Ban smoking seeing how the designated smoking area is not effective at preventing the rest of the restaurant from stinking to high heaven. The environment inside Denny’s compares to an eatery located inside a stink filled mobile trailer.
