Overpriced. Prepackaged food warmed up. only proteins are cooked. I can pick up a pack of tortillas at store and put em in a warmer. Terrible service

Always Great!!!!. I don’t see how the person who wrote the review below could say it tasted like microwaved mexican food…of course you also bad mouthed the biggest fast food chain in America in McDonalds so I don’t put much weight in that review. Always hot, delicious food as well as a friendly staff will keep me coming back to El Chico’s for years to come. Keep up what your doing El Chico’s…I love it!!!!13 Aug, 2009I Love It!!!!!!!!!. Always great hot food, and friendly smiling service everytime I visit this El Chico. They have a great lunch menu w/ some items starting as low as $5.99

How in the world is this voted as top Mexican food. I really don’t understand how this happened. Unless you really like microwave tasting mexican food. I could pretty much get the exact same tasting food for cheaper in the freezer isle in Walmart by the Patio Company. (You know what I’m talking about)

This is for El Chico #76. Anthony Montoya is a manager there, he is a great guy. He is a caring person, he started out as a server so he never asks anyone to do something he wouldn’t do. I had chicken tacos that were great. The setting of the restaurant was nice, clean, and server was pleasant. Overall a great lunch…. [email protected]

First time visitor. After deciding on mexican food for dinner, me and my family decided to try El Chico Cafe. We entered and were immediatly greeted be the hostess who was very friendly and got us seated right away. The server quickly arrived and got us started on Top Shelf Guacomole and continued to suggest what entrees they were also featuring. They were very educated on the foods they were providing.I decided on the chilli rellano enchiladas, which came out perfect and the fajitas my parents split were also fantastic.I was very pleased with my experience. Its a very clean restraunt with a knowledgble staff who take pride in what they’re serving.I will definatly return and would suggest it to everyone. You want great mexican food try El Chico Cafe!

Perfection!!!!. I really like eating at El Chico Cafe for numerous reasons. They have excellent service, it is managed very well, they are community oriented (schools can do fundraising), food prices are very reasonable considering the exceptional taste of the food (my fav, the brownie skillet sunday). They also run unbeatable specials every week like the 2 enchilada dinner for only $5.50 and kids night for $.99.
