Food tastes frozen and it’s not very authentic. If you want a place where waiters are rude and your food is average this is the place to go. But I for one like more real tasting Mexican food not chain food. Also the wait is long for the quality of food they give.
TV Dinner in the Foil tray. When I was young my mom would warm up those foil tray mexican dinners in the oven……………that’s exactly what you get here. The queso tastes like a can of store brand cheese soup plopped in a bowl…ewwwww.
Could improve. We went here again for about the 6th time and it was crowded as usual but the wait wasnt long. I have to say the new special they changed the desserts and made them much smaller and not as tasty. not to mention when I pulled my fork out it had stuck on food! Not our best experience of El chico but we will continue to go there because their food is still good!
