I usually go late morning but I went in the afternoon and the employees were cranky. Asked greeter about senior discount and was told I had to be 65. Unfortunately for her, their ad came up on the Sports Network and it’s 60. Showed my ID at the register and got my 10% off. Heard another senior complain about difficulty in getting the discount. Hope they stop ripping off seniors. Also have to reach for the bell peppers at the Mongolian grill and I dropped a slice in the butter. Fished it out with tongs and got yelled at. They were out of broccoli. Didn’t leave a tip like I usually do.
Very good Chinese Buffet restaurant. Sometimes the food is a little hit or miss, but it is usually hit more than miss. They now have bean buns! If you’ve never had a Chinese bean bun before, then you are in for a treat. They are extremely good! Grand Buffet has a pretty decent selection of food. They also have a sushi bar and a Mongolian grill.
Do not honor their own specials. I used to eat here often but got tired of arguing about the senior price they offer during the week. Almost every time I ate there I had to send the check back because they didn’t apply the senior discount making me feel like I have to beg them for it.Very poor management. Poorly trained staff. I finally stopped eating there when they changed my VISA card to the regular price when I signed it for the senior price.Way too many restaurants in this town to have to deal with this level of incompetence and poor management.
