Not going back. We used to frequent this place quite often but the last two times we’ve been in have been disappointing. Started with the manger meeting outside to let us know we could not park in the take out spot even though all the handicap parking was taken. We asked to please allow us because, as he could see, my husband ‘s walking is very limited. After 5 minutes of back and forth with him, we finally went in to eat. Didn’t go back for About 3 months and when we decided to return, I got to witness one of the cooks wipe his nose with his bare hand 3 times and then scratch his nose with his black shirt then again wipe his nose with the white towel he was using to carry the hot plates. It was gross and ruined our dinner. Nice atmosphere, servers are great with customer service but due to poor management descretion and the lack of sanitary awareness in the kitchen, we will not be back.
Everything clicked. Everything was right on when we stopped here. Our waitress, Joanie, was very gracious and attentive. The food was fresh, hot and tasty. Everything was clean and comfortable. And the prices were very reasonable. It was fun watching the chef, he didn’t waste a single motion.
Terrible service, but still like the food. I usually go to the bar because i dont like to be bothered when i eat; im a girl, i eat slow. theres a guy named Robby A that works mostly in the bar, from my experience, and his service is terrible. i watched ppl wait for menus, wait to order, wait to pay all while he chats to ppl at the bar and walks right past them while they wave at him, but will manage to stand around the tables while people pull out their wallets. i ordered a salad and a hot dish it came out all at the same time. by the time i got to my hot plate, the food was cold. nothing is worse when you have been craving it for so long. but i dont like to complain because i was on a date. if i had been paying, he wouldve received a penny ( i was a server for years). he was nice so you would feel bad for being rude, but his service is sad and pathetic.
Chicken nachos. I have eaten the chicken nachos many times. I love the ingredients on the topping and they are so flavorful. However, they are so dry and so many chips that have nothing on them. I have eaten them in the restaurant, catered, and take out and everytime the same. It’s a disappointment for such a potential great meal!
The food is greasy and over priced. Go to Mia’s instead. U will pay less and get better food. The service here is too notch tho.
D. Logan. This is addressed to our waitress (Kaila B)…it was a pleasant experience to be served with a gracious and completely outgoing personality. The food was excellent, but the service was truly exceptional.I see great things in Kaila’s future; hopefully someone at Carino’s will as well!
Not so good on my Monday visit. Food was not hot and served 5 minutes after ordering – too fast. Will not return any time soon. Service was polite and good.
