This place ranked high on ambience and service, but fell short in other areas. Let’s start off with a dish the wait person recommended. Fried Chicken Sandwich. My dining partner said the filet of chicken was wonderful, but she said that the flavor of the bun conflicted with the taste of the chicken, so she threw the bun away. My Caesar Salad was wilted and very sparsely dressed. The croutons in the salad were inedible, they were very hard. I asked for more dressing and it came in a bowl and looked like a wad of gum. Yuck. The Potato Leek Soup was … okay. It was a little less than hot. Taste was unremarkable. It’s a lovely restaurant, I hope they get their menu in tune with the front end.
