The restourant is beetwen Cheddar’s and Backporch, it’s really good, the fish and the shrimps are OK. The prices are reasonable and the waitress are very friendly.
Foodie. New to town.Tried to go eat at Cheddars but the wait was over 45 minutes so instead decided to check out the oyster bar.Was iffy at first because I had heard mixed reviews.The atmosphere was enjoyable and wait staff was super friendly but what blew us away was the food.Amazing and well priced considering the menu.We have been back 3 more times and the last 2 months of living here and have had a very good experience each and every time.You can tell the people in the back of the kitchen know what there doing wich is’nt always the case for alot of restraunts in this town.Very impressed and will continue making this a regular place to eat at.
The menu offered pan seared shrimp in a spicy butter sear. The shrimp tasted like they were seared and then served in a sauce that tasted like Hooters hot wing sauce. The spicy crawfish appetizer was so over cooked we couldn’t taste the crawfish. The oysters on the half she’ll were huge and enjoyable except they didn’t even cut the oyster from the shell before serving. We ordered 6 oysters and it was served with 6 crackers??!!
Catfish. I plate fills 2 ppl. fresh n delicious
Second time here. I had the fried shrimp and okra. The shrimp is tasty and not over battered. The okra is crispy not mushy.30 Mar, 2011Fried shrimp and oysters are good. Skip the catfish.
