I went for the first time today. The gentleman in there was friendly ( I’m going to go our on a limb and say he was the owner) The food is great.
Decilious food. Prine’s food is always decilious and the service is super. Of course, they are busier during the lunch house, so plan your trip for purchases before or after lunch! Great family!
Bad Service. I ordered a turkey, they told me when it was going to be ready, and they’d call me. I called them wanting and update on my order an they said they sold it. The reason was I didn’t come in to pick it up. I told them it wasn’t supposed to be ready till Wednesday, the following week. Why would I want it a week before thanksgiving, they were rude and inconsiderate, made no effort to make it right. I’m not a complainer , but when they showed no compassion, and practically called me a liar, I had to say something. I’ve been a business man for a long time, I would advise them to brush up on their customer relations. This could have been handled alot better. And by the way I’ve been a customer for years.
Prines Barbecue Ham. My family have been eating Prines Barbecue for three generations. We find their Barbecue to be the best in texas. The main reason is the quality of the meat that Prines uses. Even though we have moved to Fort Worth, we find it worth the drive back to Wichita to get their Barbecue and recommend it above all others.
Poor Service. The food was adequate – after being heated up in the microwave – but definitely not worth being treated the way we were by the d-bag taking our order. Will go to Rib Crib or any other place first before going here again.
FAV BBQ. I grew up eating Prines Barbecue & now live in Dallas. It still is THE BEST BBQ in Texas. I love the chopped beef, sides, banana pudding, and great conversation with the owner & his mother. You won’t be disappointed!
Good Meats Blah Sides. I had the ribs and sausage and both were very tasty. I didn’t care for my two sides though, and in future will only order the meats. I have to say the sides didn’t even look appetizing, just kind of bland. The staff were great, friendly and helpful.
