Pretty Good. I love Thai Food. Although this wasn’t close to it, it was still good. The reason some of it is flavorless is because they do not use MSG in any of their food. In all I thought it waas good and great service and reasonable prices.
Meh. I just moved here and was really craving some Thai food. I was really excited to try and had heard ok things about I’ll be mostly second and third hand. The food was eh I got the Thai fried rice, the Thai chili sauce made it better but it was still totally lacking in flavor. I think the thing that really got to me though was how freaking dirty it was, flies and the whole place just had a dingy feel to it. If people think this is good Thai food they need to get out more.
I lived in Bangkok Thailand from 1968-72. I have eaten much Thai food over the years. Thai Orchid is in nowhere near real Thai food. It is a dive with weak flavors and the owner looks more Korean than Thai. Speaking Thai to him was useless.It is sad that people take this food for authentic Thai food..It is NOT.
This place is really good but you need to know what to get. Pad Kee Mao extra spicy. If you want really spicy say Thai spicy and they will light you up. Egg rolls are good. This tea is good. There is no desert worth having. Panang curry is good as well as pineapple fried rice Pad Thai is off the hook as well.
Awesome. The place and two people who run it are amazing most days it’s just the 2 of them there running the whole place and they are amazingly attentive food always arrives fast. Great portion size almost a little too much 😉 we are vegans and they always make sure to take good care of us and we are grateful as its one of three restaurants we can eat in this town. I’ve never had a problem with service or food. In regards to the decor yes the decor is the same as it was 10 years ago and the lighting is dim but if you’re not pretentious and can get around it it is a quirky place with its own charm it’s a place to go on a first date and revisit before you get married because even the music hasn’t changed and I love it its truly a relaxing experience dining there instead of the loud fast paced rush at most other restaurants.
This place is a gem in Wichita Falls. My boyfriend and I go every other week. It’s one of our very favorite places to eat. It is very quiet most of the time, and has a perfect atmosphere for a relaxing dinner. The decor is still the remnants of the old Italian restaurant, which some people complain about, but it does not distract from the delicious food. I’ve haven’t brought myself to say no to my 2 favorite dishes yet because they’re so good that’s all I want when we come. I highly recommend this restaurant!
