We’ve been to Bolongo numerous times and never had a bad experience from when the original Iggies was on the beach, to Iggies Oasis after the hurricanes. The Doumeng family and their staff are the best. Especially Alex and 007!!!
Extremely bad food. Tacky-Disney type experience. Avoid resort, food and nearby condos. Just awful. We were there only to catch plane next day. Much farther from airport then they advertise. Cruise ship crowd. Beware.
For lunch, the wings were great, and enjoyed the conch fritters. Dinner – Lobster fantastic, pasta bland. The drinks were very good. Shout out to Tequoia – lunch staff who was very pleasant and fun!!!
The first night was god, not great, the second night was not good at all. Waiter mixed up several orders and the fried fish was dry and over cooked. Best to stick with burgers and wings.
Service service service was excellent. Suzan was everything a waitress should be and she was beyond helpful. The good was descent. I would definitely return. The atmosphere was awesome. Tucked away in a little corner of paradise.
