I love this place. I tried the Curry Shrimp for the first time and loved it. I like spiced so I added extra spice and also had the Lettuce wraps for an appetizer. If you haven’t tried this place you must. Service is always amazing, owner ran and they are very nice people. Restaurant is very clean and i was there at closing last week and witnessed how well they scrub that place down each night. Thank you Ahi’s!!

Inexpensive and very very tasty. All good across the menu – which is pretty extensive. Staff is also friendly and attentive. Nondescript location and you’d not pick it out without a good tip.

Disappointing. The pictures on the website are very misleading. Ordered Szechuan chicken, general tso chicken, fried rice and potstickers. The amount of chicken was comparable to half a chicken breast for each order, with the majority of the dish being composed of a random assortment of vegetables (random as in there was a cherry tomato in my Szchuan chicken – because nothing says Szchuan like a fruit from south america). The ‘fried rice’ had mushrooms, which was unusual, but palatable, however the rice was a bland brown rice with perhaps a dash of soy sauce (?) for flavor, there were a few pieces of steak scattered throughout (unseasoned though not tough), went into the garbage after the second bite, completely inedible. The General Tso chicken was again small on the chicken and large on the veggies. The chicken, mind you for both dishes, was unbreaded and cut into lettuce-wrap sized pieces. Potstickers were fine, if a bit weird in texture, definitely not homemade wrappers like in real bao (these were thin), however the meat was flavored fairly well (was the highlight of the meal). The white rice was perfect, which is odd since that’s what most restaurants get wrong. It was fluffy, somewhat moist – but not overly so – and was probably the best thing about the entire meal. Had I known it was fusion cuisine and not something more traditional, I would not have bothered ordering. The restaurant was nice inside, nice decor and very clean, the staff was friendly too. I had expected that the dishes were more american chinese food and less asian fusion. Will not eat there again.

We had the shrimp fried rice, wanton soup and Kung Pao Chicken. The wanton soup was awesome but it only had one wonton in it. The shrimp fried rice looked pretty but was really bland and had no flavor. The Kung pao was alright but needs more heat.

We lived in St. George for a short time and the only good things there were Harmon’s grocery and Ahi. The food is fresh and light, employees were friendly and the atmosphere was casual and quiet. We loved and miss it because no one in Vegas has food that good.

Ingredients probably decent quality, but the three dishes had no sauce… Or else, their sauce is ridiculous. Orange chicken, General Tso’s chicken and Sweet and Sour chicken aren’t what you are ordering without the sauce, I’m sure you will agree. When I called them to complain, the employee argued with me about the issue, so I told him that I’d just go somewhere else and share my experience with others. I am Asian myself, and have a pretty good idea what dishes should taste like. Find someplace else, friends. St. George has no shortage of food options.

Ahi’s is like a Barbie doll you buy at the dollar store- looks authentic until you bite it and its head falls off? Yes, a weird analogy but they make food so hurriedly there and don’t put love and culture into it. I tried it! And on empty stomach so I thought it would be delicious! I ended up trying to mix condiments in it to make it taste better but it just didnt work out and felt like a waste of $10 for me. There wasn’t even a complimentary salad or soup and the drink wasn’t included either. Don’t waste your money here and head to someplace with people who love to cook instead of people who love their business.
