When we arrived, weregistered on the waiting list and were advised it would be a 20 minute wait. After 40 minutes, we were seatedwhile watching other groups of 2 that arrived after us being seated first. That didn’t get our breakfast off to a great start. We were told by the staff that people could call in and say they were in route after finding out what the wait timewas. That way they could leave home and show up close to the appropriate time while others sit out front waiting. A B.S. system if you ask me (or maybe a B.S excuse). Our food was good, but I would not recommend a visit here and putting up with the frustration.
This place was a random stop on a pass through St George, UT. So glad we did. Our waitress Malory suggested the country fried chicken. OMG! The chicken was crispy and cooked perfect with an awesome peppery white gravy. The scone was like a aped up vignette. I’ll definitely come again for the chicken and a scone. The food here is wonderful. Highly recommend.
I experienced this for the first time ever and I was pleased. The inside is quaint (see: small) and cozy. My friend and I were immediately seated and were perused the menu, which is roughly 300 pages long. I decided on the #9 combo, it had everything I was craving. The food came out somewhat promptly and looked so good. The home fries were EVERYTHING! They were little potato discs that were perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The waffle was good as were the eggs. Everything was great. I craved these home fries for days and finally went back on my own. They were busy, almost every table filled, when I arrived. I was still seated right away and the gal came to take care of me. I waited longer this time for my food. There was an older woman who came in about 5 minutes after me and asked for just a biscuit and warmed honey and it literally took 20 minutes. She finally asked a passing by waiter what was up. My food came out just as good as it had before. I’d say the service is a bit wonky/slow but the food is worth. it.
