Great meal. We ate dinner there last night and everyone in our party of 6 loved it. my daughter and I got the lite portion of chicken fried steak. there was more food than we could eat. Fresh made tender and full of flavor, real mashed potatoes and house made Country gravy. Best chicken fried steak have ever had. Also came with fresh sauted vegetanles, soup or salad. Started us with delicious hot corn bread muffins. I would eat there again and would hearty recommend it.
Went for breakfast on Memorial Day, they were busy, but we were seated right away. Portions are huge! The biscuits were enormous. Pancakes were gigantic. Food was good. Restaurant was crowded, so it was pretty noisy. Would try again.
YUMMY FOOD. Terrible service!!!! Took my niece in for lunch and waited 11 minutes for a waiter. Then other people were seated & helped right away. No good
Just OK. I’ve been there five times and not once gotten food that tasted very good and last few times. ..horrible service
Amazing pancakes
We saw the billboards on our way through St George & decided to stop. Decor is rustic, diner feel. I ordered the California burger. It & the fries were delicious. My son ordered the southern scramble….he liked it. Biscuits, topped with sausage patties, eggs & gravy. Food was really fast! Our server was GREAT! Thanks Jorja!!! Would recommend:)
Black Bear Diner is what Willis was talking about. With an old time diner feel the staff is very friendly. The food is served in generous portions and they have no problem with special requests. I ordered the chicken fried steak and it was delicious. The deserts are topped with large mounds of ice cream (a la mode) and whipped cream. Overall this diner will not disappoint. Caution: when ordering the lava cake desert, do not expect anything similar to Chili’s molten lava cake. Black Bear’s lava cake does not contain hot, runny fudge, though it is still good in its own right.
