Their salmon was exquisite! We also loved their bread. They were very welcoming and gave us great service. The only negative was their wine and beer selection.
This place is a hidden treasure! The exterior is less than impressive but inside the food is first-class. Absolutely authentic Italian cuisine at its best from Chef Alfredo, who, by the way is a charming host. Everything is homemade and delicious. And the Tira misunderstanding is worth every calorie.
This is by far the best Italian restaurant that I have been to in St. George. Everything from the appetizer to the entre to the dessert was absolutely perfect. Alfredo is a true artist in the kitchen! He takes pride in his food, it’s preparation, and it’s presentation. For a truly authentic Italian dining experience this IS the place to go in St. George.
Absolutely delicious. Perfect pasta and gnocchi. Rich flavorful sauces. Great portions and reasonable priced. Definitely putting this place in the regular rotation.
The Real Deal. We very much enjoyed Chef Alfredo’s….our meals were excellent. The chef used to be at Piccolo Mondo downtown, but for some reason we prefer this new location in an old house next to Harmon’s. It’s nothing to look at from the outside, but step in and it’s delightful. The night we were there they were not serving the caprese salad as the mozzarella had not come in from iItaly, and no dishes with spinach in them were available as the chef did not like how the spinach that had been delivered looked. We like that he has high standards, and it showed in the quality of the food. I would only suggest that he go lighter on the volume of the sauce…too much sauce is not a good thing to me, and that their wine/beer license come through, which of course is not their fault – wake up Utah State! This is a terrific addition to SGU as it is REAL Italian, with candles on the table and the strains of opera drifting through its charming rooms. Our server told us that reservations are needed Fri and Sat nights…luckily we came in after the rush and were able to be seated immediately.
