Authentic and delicious. If you’ve never been to Hawai’i or had a proper Hawaiian plate of food, may I recommend the Kalbi ribs and kalua pork, macaroni salad and rice with no sauce on it? They have aloha shoyu (soy sauce) that tastes delicious on your rice. When you’re done with that, order a piece of guava cake or shave ice in li hing mui flavor with vanilla ice cream at the bottom. There is something for everyone at this restaurant, even my picky eater of a son likes the musubi and loco moco. You’ll be stuffed when you walk out, the portions are large and the atmosphere is like going to visit family. But the food is what keeps us coming back for more. You will too. It’s worth the stop!

Great Food!. I eat here at least once a month. I love their kalua pork over rice and the macaroni salad is amazing (if it wasn’t so fattening, I would order extra). The portion sizes are just right and the price is very reasonable. The atmosphere isn’t anything special but the food makes up for it… give it a try!
Meh. The service was fast, but the food was so so. I got the sesame chicken and it was super salty. The sauce on the rice and the Macaroni were both sub par. For this style of food I Would rather go to The Parrothead Island Grill.
