Consistently amazing food. We go to Irmitas about once a week and everything we’ve gotten is authentic and extremely tasty. Would recommend that if you love Mexican food, this is the place to go.

The original is the best. The Irmitas at the shell station is phenomenal. I mistakenly went to the other Irmitas in Washington thinking it was part of a chain. First I noticed that the prices were 15-20% higher. Then when I got my food, I was thoroughly disappointed. When I returned to the shell station and complained, I was told the other restaurant is NOT part of the same business, but run by the ex-wife of the owner/chef of the one at the Shell gas station. Have not made the same mistake again. The food at the shell station Irmitas is authentic, well-priced and delicious.
Best Mexican in Town. Irmita’s has a long history of divorce and restaurants being lost. The couple, divorced, who started the place run 3 now. The man runs the one in the Shell gas station and the new restaurant location. The woman runs the one in Washington gas station.Best locations:1. Washington gas station2. Shell gas station3. Best Mexican in St. George!. Irmita’s is the undoubtedly the best mexican food in all of St. George. The food is authentic, homemade, and fresh! Their chips and salsa should not be missed! Don’t be lead astray by their location – the food is phenomenal!
Like, not love it. This is the husbands take on Irmitas since their divorce. His recipes are good, but his wife’s recipes are wonderful and Irmitas too is located in washingon.
