I like spicy food… And kickin shrimp salad rocks.
Waited too long for waitress to greet .. Ended up with the bartender as our waitress Valerie and she rocked and made the whole experience .. Manager ended up bring us food cause he knew we didn’t get the assigned waitress .. Keep Valarie and pay her more !!
Nice place, we had awesome service for a late lunch. It’s a little spendy for basically bar food
Doesn’t feel like a sports bar. The dcor is nice but it doesn’t really feel like a sports bar. Where’s the pool tables, dart board, etc? The waiter that came to take my order looked like he’d just rolled out of bed… I wondered if he knew how to use a comb or iron. However, all that being said, my turkey sandwich was actually quite good, but the prices are a little high. I paid around $14 with tip for just one average sized sandwich with a glass of water. They weren’t very busy for lunch, but I guess they don’t have to be at those prices. Conclusion: There are much better sports bars to go to in town, but if you’re looking for a clean restaurant with a nice dcor that you can easily get into and aren’t too budget conscious, this place is worth a try.
Disappointment. Went to Players on Friday evening. Over priced food – I had pasta, 5 shimp and sauce for $14. I left hungry. Chicken tenders were on the over done side. In the party of 6, no one really had any great reviews. Will not be returning.
I have never been treated so poorly before in my life. I just wanted to use my Dixie Direct card and the waiter said I could only get a half priced entre not a free entree (up to $8) he said he would check. Next thing I knew the owner came to the table and said I was wrong and he wanted to see the ad. So I went and got it and he showed me the ad I was talking about. I think he was confused about what I was talking about. But the fact that he was so rude about it was unacceptable. I will NEVER support his business again an I will let everyone know how horrible the owner was to me and ask them not to support him either. Shame on you for treating me that way! Part of owning a business is treating your customers with respect. You will find out someday just how important each and every customer is to your business.
Don’t Eat at Players. Don’t do it! Players Sports Grill is garbage, terrible food and even worse service. Management treats its patrons and members of staff like dirt. These boys have been busted for selling alcohol to adolescents. No MMA fights, no-good sports, what’s the point, spend your money at Iggys for better service and superior food. If you want to watch golf and dine on subpar food, subsequently you will love Players.
