Great Service and Food. We just finished our first meal at Rib & Chop House. Our server Anne was very friendly, attentive and prompt. My wife had the snapper special (broiled over sauteed spinach) and it was surprisingly well prepared. Not over cooked and abundant flavor. I had the ribeye (my go to steak) which was prepared perfectly medium rare! Not red, but not over done either. I don’t know what the other reviewer had to average $50 a head. Our total for two, including two glasses of wine, was $66 – a good value!

We went for dinner Thursday night, they were busy but seated us right away. Server Ann came right away and got our drink orders. We ordered sliders for appetizer, they were big sliders, doo came in a good amount of time, everything was cooked well. Kids ordered steak sandwiches, the steaks were really thick. Both had to take food home. Husband ordered jumbalaya(at a steak house, I know), he said it was not spicy enough. I had the ribs, they were small but good & tender. Waitress was really nice, would go back.

Went for Father’s Day had there 3 lbs. steak. THE best steak I have ever had at a restaurant. Service was great.

Not worth eating. This is another restaurant trying to be fancy in St George. My chicken fried steak was over cooked. Gravy tastes like wallpaper paste. My wife ordered a cheeseburger. The cheese was not melted, that should have been the first clue. She cut it in half as she always does. The meet was cold and bloody inside. It took an unusually long time to recieve the meal. Upon which the server hovering over our table made it that much worse. The manager did not charge for the cheeseburger. The only redeeming quality of this restaurant. We both left hungry. Don’t waste your money.

Great steak!. This place is very nice!. Great food and service. I went alone on a business trip and ate in the bar. It was the best steak I had ever eaten. In fact, my sister and I are celebrating our birthday and again I am in St. George on our big day. The reservations are made and she is making a special trip to dine with me at the Rib and Chop House.

A St. George gem. I was in town for business and went to the Chop House on the recommendation of a friend. I had the cedar plank salmon and my wife had the bbq shrimp. Easily the best seafood we’ve had in months. I can’t wait to travel to St. George again just so we can go back. If I had to come up with a criticism, I think they could use rolls/bread before the meal and the desserts we tried were not great. Overall, a great experience, and the best salmon I’ve ever had in Utah (including Market Street Grille and many others in the Salt Lake area.).

Save Your Money !!. One things for certain, I won’t ever return.. What an over priced piece of crap.. Thank God !! I know The Rib & Chop House wont be around very much longer.. The only thing good about the place, thinking, still thinking, the fire outside.. The place is set up like a cafeteria, the service sucks, the food for the price, not even close, a RIP OFF.. I could go on and on, but seriously folks, $275 bucks to feed 6, and none of us drink alcohol.. I won’t even give this place 1 star.. Save your money, McDonald’s is a mile away, far better feed there..
