Traditional Argentine food. I am originally from Argentina, and this is where the Argentine folks dine, for sure! Very traditional, excellent service, amazing food. I drive 30 minutes each way to enjoy asado with chimichurri, and milanesas (but once you try the asado, you won’t want anything else!). I prefer the potato salad (rusa), very generous portions and yummy bread. If I’m homesick, this is definitely the place to go! Service is a little slow, but that means all the food is made after you order. I’d rather wait and get a fresh made dish…
Better Than A Home Cooked Meal. Don’t ever listen to a single bad review about this place. Their food is absolutely amazing! Their restaurant is absolutely adorable and has a sweet homey feeling to it. The best part though was definitely the empanadas. My step dad lived in Chile for two years and they were the most authentic he had had since then. The pizza is great. The sandwiches are great. And the people that run the store are super friendly. I can’t wait until the next time I go back
Never Again. Myself, my wife, and some coworkers went here for lunch a few weeks ago thinking it might be nice to try something a little different. We should have reallized when we saw that we were the only customers during the lunch hour that there was something wrong. There was no one manning the front desk when we arrived and when the owner came downstairs a few minutes later and found us, he seemed surprised to have customers. At the table, the owner deleivered each of us a serving of cow tongue, (which none of us ordered or wanted), as an appetizer, and the food was all downhill from there. Although the homemade bread was good, the House Milanesa I ordered was as thin as paper, tough, and covered in wha tasted like marinera sauce. It tasted microwaved. I don’t think anyone with me had a better experience. Defnitely won’t be going back.
Good food, bad experience. Great food. Insanely great food. But on my last visit, the normally kind gentleman cheated me by refusing to honor a legitimate promotion. So I will likely not be returning. It’s a shame, because the pizza, sandwiches and empanadas are all amazing.
I love this restaurant! They are so friendly and make you feel like family. Everything we have eaten here is incredible! A couple of our favorite things.are the bread and the pizza . Excellent food!
