Waiting line out the door!. This place is a find, large hot fresh and delicious sandwiches well worth the wait which at lunch may run out the door. 5 star sandwich shop.
Food and Service A++. The Philly Steaks are GREAT! Fast, friendly service.
Bring your own drink. As much as I like the steak sandwiches at this shop I am always frustrated that I can’t get a drink of water with my meal. They want you to buy a bottle of water and then only offer that nasty-tasting Dasani water. Bring your own water if you want a drink, otherwise you will have to pay a couple of bucks for a soda or a Dasani.I sure hope they make a change in this policy it bugs me every time I’m there.15 Oct, 2012Only Real Cheesesteak around. This is the only place you can find a real cheesesteak sandwich in the area. When you crave something good and tasty this is the place to go.
I finally went to this place about a month ago to fulfill a pregnancy craving There weren’t many ppl inside so the service was fast and friendly. Philly cheese steak was tasty, much more flavor than one from Charley’s Grilled Subs but fries aren’t offered on the menu;(. I’ll eventually return for another.
I crave their cheesesteak. This place has the right idea, simple menu, great ingredients. You have to go. No words do their sandwiches justice.
Ketchup? Really?. (Spoken in a NYC/Philly accent) Who ‘da frick puts ketchup on a cheesesteak? You gotta be kiddin’ me.So, yeah, I like the place, but I have to hold the ketchup. It has NO place on a cheesesteak. Jeesh. But I LOVE the hot pastrami with hot peppers. I can eat a footlong in one sitting. Just don’t go at 11:00 when half of Hill AFB is in there.
Good Food/ bad service. The Philly sandwiches are great and reasonably priced. However, the service kind of sucks. For years they wouldn’t take Debit or Credit cards. Their machine was an ATM machine that charged you $1.00 for using your card. They won’t give you a water cup (you have to buy a bottle of water) and the people seem fair unfriendly, not overtly rude or anything, just seem like your business isn’t that important to them.
