The best part of the whole experience is the chef preparing your food; food that isn’t that great and overpriced.
I always go here. The steak and shrimp are the best and the sushi is great. The chiefs are always very nice and they cook right in front of you. So you get dinner and a show. The chiefs are always wiling to talk to your kids and you. I recommend when the chief tosses the shrimp and it looks like it’s going to your eye close it.
Loved the food!! Our first time having dinner here and we’ll definitely be back. Wait time for a table would have been long (on a busy Saturday) if we weren’t inserted into a party missing guests. My only complaint is the small amount of confusion while seating guests. I really didn’t care who we sat with, I was just ready to enjoy the experience!! So I ordered the Beef Sukiyaki with noodles and it was thee tastiest meal I’ve had since we moved to Utah!! To top it off, the chef entertained by tossing shrimp from the grill into each diner’s mouth. Yes, I caught mine, yum!! I’m preggers so I couldn’t have any sushi, but I cannot wait to try some!!!
Delicious food! Spectacular steak. Just wish we didn’t have to sit so close to 6 other people we don’t know.
We love going for the grill and for sushi! The prices are a bit high, but if you get a combination dinner there is plenty of food to share. The best part of the entire restaurant is Alfredo, a sushi chef. He prepares the BEST sushi and has awesome customer service.
DON’T order the King Crab!!!. Well, we have been going to the Tepanyaki in Layton since they opened… I always order the Filet and it’s always wonderful. Last night, I decided to splurge and order the King Crab.Big mistake… HUGE…It was horrible. I cannot even believe that they can serve sub standard seafood like that. If they cannot serve fresh, good crab, then TAKE IT OFF THE MENU!I will return, but I will go back to the steak. What a wasted evening…
