One of the finest bakeries around! The macaroons here are amazing. But, like most bakeries you need to get there early for best selection. Excellent assortment of tarts and other unique pastries. I have been to a lot of bakeries around town and this one is a clear stand out. They will soon be opening up a eatery right next to the bakery with openface sandwiches and soups. Can’t wait!

So flipping good. My sister asked if I wanted a pastry from here. I said no because I’m pregnant and I don’t want to get super fat, but she told me it would be the best pastry I had ever had. She was so right. For awhile it was all I could think about, and I wanted to go all the time. But then I realized that they’re not as good later in the day, and they are a bit pricey (just a few dollars each, but if they’re not amazing that’s a little much). So…I still think their pastries are awesome, but they’re not magic or anything.

High quality stuff. We tried a range of items from this place, and were pretty impressed. The raspberry almond danish was excellent, especially if you love marzipan. The princess torte and frangipane were also good (if you like frangipane). The kouign amann was alright, but likely would have been much better if it had been hot and fresh (I just haven’t jumped on the kouign amann train yet…hasn’t really grabbed me). The passion fruit cream in the kouign amann was delicious, though. Likewise, the gruyere and prosciutto croissant likely would have been fantastic if it had been hot, but once it cooled, it was a bit too heavy and oily. The strawberry shortcake cake was shockingly devoid of flavor. Our kids wouldn’t even finish it.Good, very high quality stuff.
