I grew up near here and passed by every day. There have almost always been customers inside. So that says something. You don’t go there for food unless you are craving greasy food. You go for the awesome shakes. I’m always a fan of grasshopper but they’re all good. And very big. So bring a friend (or 2) and share!25 Apr, 2010Awesome shakes. No better shakes around town.
Never. I called to see if I could use my citydeals coupon that expired less than a week ago. Besides saying no, the owner/manager was very rude about it and belittling. We bought 4 and they will only let you use one at a time so we had to space them out. The food is overpriced, and the staff is very unprofessional.
The good: Fries and shakes. The bad: Everything else. The meat on the burgers are barely there and it’s tasteless. My husbands family loves this place but frankly I think it’s the nostalgia that tastes good not the food. I have to give them an overall thumbs down but I’ll keep going back for the shakes and to make my husband happy but I’ll stop at McD’s for my burger. Yuck
Menu hit and miss. The malts are very good, as well as the fresh cut fries. But the burgers taste like A&W on the inside meets a McDonalds bun. Just not a good flavor. A greasy spoon place like this has GOT to serve a great burger. So it’s thumbs down from me.
My husband had a chocolate malted for $3.49 and I had a medium soda for $1. His malted was really good. It was the kind that must be eaten with a spoon. It was delicious!!
Over priced food and poor quality. Their shakes are decent but nothing special at all. I definitely wouldn’t recommend going here at all!!!
