Recently the organization I am a part of had an event with prospective clients at Toscanos Draper location. Many things went wrong that may have reflected poorly on us in the eyes of our clients. We were never told there was no AC in their event room so everyone was sweating, the buffet was set with plastic tongs that broke after the first use, and the staff was noisy and distracting. They were also very unclear about the number of guests the room can seat so many of our guests were sat facing away from the presentation they came to see. After our event we politely offered feedback, but the manager insisted on placing all the blame on us! She explained that she does thousands of events a year (which is unlikely because that would be around 3 a day) and ours was the hardest event she has ever had to coordinate. She criticized us for communicating our needs to her staff (who she admits doesnt know anything), but the whole event she was nowhere to be found. Before we gave our feedback we were unsure whether wed return. After her unapologetic treatment of us we are sure we will not be holding any future events here. We hope this review will spare others the mistake we made of booking our event at a venue as totally unequipped for professional service as this one!

They had good food and service but it was very overpriced. An individual pizza with cheese and prosciutto should be maybe $9, not $17. Would go back if they were about half the price which would be comparable to other resturaunts with the same caliber food. Nice atmosphere. Liked the indoor trees.

Disappointing. First of all this is the first review I have ever submitted, I am pretty easy to please. I just felt compelled to share my thoughts. I tried Tuscano in Sandy for the first time today, I had such high hopes. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. The cost for lunch was suprising, $59.00 for 3 people. I must say we did order calamari for an appetizer (which was served cold and no flavor). I have no problem paying a higher price for a nice meal, however, I ordered spaghetti with meatballs, the most basic and safe dish at an Italian restaurant. It was literally eneatable. The pasta was so overcooked it was pasty and mushy with very little sauce. Which I found to b greatful for in the end , for the sauce was not tasty at all. The meat balls were sub-par, texture was fine but very little flavor. My daughter chose the 4 cheese ravioli (6 med. sized) , not bad. My son in-law had the Italian club which was the only high note of our lunch. I have never sent food back in a restaurant, nor did I today, but I truly should have. In short, way over priced for quality and quanity. Service was not what is expected, server did not check on use once. Nor did she refill drinks from the original order. Will not return and will not recommend.

Cold Food, Poor Service. I was very unimpressed by the level of service and the quality of the food. The appetizers especially seemed to be nothing more that warmed up frozen food. Our waitress was very absent minded, perhaps intoxicated? Not going back. Save the money.

Toscano rip-off. They had no lunch menu. The prices were ridiculous. The spinach pasta was just o.k. Just ravioli in olive oil. It did not include bread or salad. It was a ridiculous 17 dollars for about six pieces of ravioli. I hated that they had no salt and pepper on the table. Like their food needs no help. The place just echoes due to bad acoustics. I was so disappointed. We also waited a really long time for our food. That’s not that big a deal to me. I left feeling ripped off. I have never complained about a restaurant before. I’m very passive. Don’t complain. Just don’t go back. This was a waste of my money. I will not go back.

Have to agree with many others….. The service was okay, but the price far too high for the quality. The spaghetti with meatballs was pretty bad. The two gigantic meatballs seemed more like slabs of meatloaf on pasta. My husband got the beef short ribs and it was just a so-so pot roast. We did enjoy the hummus tapenade appetizer, but it was not worth the price and was soured by the poor entrees. Should have known better when we were the only ones there at 6:30pm.

Beautiful restaurant, but very over priced. Food is just ok.
