Bland Utah fried chicken. I can’t tell you how disappointed I was to find fried chicken that this bland. Avoid. Best fried chicken around here is Popeyes. Pretty sad statement.
Not worth the gas getting there… If you like the smallest pieces of chicken in Utah, then you’re in luck! Honestly the drum sticks looked like buffalo wings. The mashed potatoes were from a box and the gravy was completely flavorless. Tasted like canned gravy. The rolls were definitely frozen at one time and the cornbread was mediocre at best. The coleslaw was decent though. Oh and the price for all this sub par food was ridiculous. I will definitely not be donating any more of my money to this place.
I absolutely love being able to get authentic Maddox chicken and turkey burgers when I’m in Layton. If you’ve never had either, do yourself a favor and drop by this week. Maddox chicken is special. There’s nothing quite like it. Oh, and their homemade pies are pretty good too – especially when the fruit is in season.
