Excellent soup and sandwich place. Not unlike Panera Bread in concept, but the menus are different and the two restaurants do not seem like carbon copies of each other. I would say that, unless you have a particular affinity for a certain item, if you like one you’ll enjoy the other.

Pretty good food. The guy behind the counter rushed us so much. It was annoying. Will go again because they offer healthy food. Utah doesn’t have a ton of good food, so we will settle for what we can fine.

This was best place I ate during my week long business trip. Mango berry salad was unbelievably good.

When Zupas first opened I loved the place. Now they seem to be more concerned with costs then they are for food quality. Their customer service is great but their cost cutting deceits are obvious to anyone familiar with business practices. It may look like there is a decent amount of protein on your salad but the meat is sliced thinner than alternative restaurants to use less meat and keep the appearance of a hearty salad. When I am hungry I don’t want to see the restaurant skimping on the food I like the most. Save your $7 buy a bag of lettuce from the store and you’ll have a new age Zupas salad.

Great place!. Love their sandwich/salad comination! I always get the Mango Salad and Turkey/Cranberry sandwich. My husband gets the California Chicken Salad.

Great soup. Good salads. Mediocre sandwiches. Horrible service system. Been here several times, never gotten our order right once. Does it really take twelve people in three stations to take one order? It’s a good thing I really like the food here or I probably wouldn’t go back due to the convoluted ordering process. One station takes your sandwich and/or salad order by hollering out acronyms that the staff hopefully understands. The next station takes your soup order, if you ordered soup, because maybe you did with your salad, or your sandwich, or maybe you didn’t. Maybe soup was all you wanted, or maybe you didn’t want it at all. Be sure to remember what you (and everyone else in your party wanted/ordered) because you’re going to have to tell them at least three times. By then, even I’m confused. Never mind the people behind you who don’t want to wait for you to get your soup because they only ordered salad. They’ll just go around you, but try and make sure you recognize what food on the serving bar is yours, because they’re going to ask you – again. If you remember, and recognize, everything, they’ll move you to the next station where you get bread and a berry – unless you ordered kids meals, because then you only get one or the other, or you might get neither because everyone is so confused and they can’t remember how many adult combos you ordered. Whew. See what I mean. Finally you get to pay for everything as you stare at a dessert case, wondering if that’s something you can order as well – but feeling stressed and a little pressured/rushed, you decide to pass and *maybe* brave the ordering counter again later. I like places where you only have to order ONCE, and THEY keep track of everything and deliver the goods accurately. It shouldn’t be my JOB to repeat what I’ve ordered three different times to seven different people. PS. They charge for mix ins like cheese, fried onion strips, bacon, sour cream, nuts, etc. So buyer beware.

Very good food. I liked the Thai Lobster Curry. The Chocolate covered Strawberries are neat touch.
